The headquarters is an ex convent of the Theatines , called de "La Catena " , located in the most extreme part of the Cassaro , the < strong> corso Vittorio Emanuele , between the Kalsa district and the Cala port.

Another location that depends on the State Archive of Palermo is the section of Termini Imerese with precisely its Historical Archive .

The series that includes the oldest registers dates back to 1311, and is that of the Acts, notices and proviste that reports the acts issued by the Senate on any matter, from the acts coming from the municipal judicial organs to incoming correspondence.

The Historical Archive of the Sicilian Regional Assembly is located in the Church of SS. Elena and Costantino . Inaugurated in 2007, it contains the documents relating to the documents from 1947 to 1967, classified by the Office of the Historical Archive , in collaboration with the Regional Archival Superintendency. In progress, the archiving of the documents of the following years continues.

The Central Library of Sicily's Churches at the Pontifical Theological Faculty of Sicily "San Giovanni Evangelista" in Palermo , officially established on September 14, 1981 Arc. Paper. Salvatore Pappalardo and settled in the historic headquarters of the Seminarium Clericorum.
